We rate our buttons to IP44 standard which officially classifies them as splashproof. They are not fully waterproof and we do not recommend using them in environments where the button could be fully submerged or sprayed with water for more than 10 mins. However using it with wet hands, or just light splashing of water will not affect the button, so you could place them on the wall in the bath/shower :)

Please make it completely waterproof so I can stick it to my motorbike, so i can hit it with my thumb and keep both hands on the handlebars at all times. It rains on motorbikes so waterproof is essential.

I use flic as a doorbell, and in the case we don't hear the speaker, say we are in the shower or are listening to noise cancelling headphones, we want our lights to alert us. I have hue and lifx lights in the home, I prefer the lifx lights. The hue integration has an alert mode, but the lifx integration does not, this is quite annoying as makes lifx lights unsuitable for the alert. The workaround was to set lifx to green then hold the flic doorbell to set to white again, but this does not restore to the original colour and interferes with whatever the light's previous state was, be it another colour or brightness or off
