  3. Let the button rotate left and right for new possibilities (dim the lights, control the sound volume, etc.)

This is not a usage idea, but rather a flic enhancement one. It would be nice to allow some rotating motion in flic so that you could rotate it both sides and trigger some "continuous" actions such as dimming the lights or controlling the sound volume of a TV or something.

When I'm awake before the set time, just press the flic instead of getting blind by turning on the phone to disable it.

  10. Was the Dog Fed? Button

Today, The most common phrase uttered between my boyfriend and I isn't "love you " it's "Did you feed the dog?"

We'll place a Flic by the food and press it when we do- so we can see if he has been fed by the other person or still hungry.

No more starving or double meals for Wozzy & a redemption of our relationship for us! Sweet! :-P

  12. dog calling

my wife suffers from diabetes. that's why we train our dog to alert her in case of hypoglycaemia. this alert can be barking, pressing a light button or: PRESSING A FLIC which would ring the house bell / call someone / turn music on / ... the dog would only need to know this one reaction - smelling and correctly detecting hypos is heavy enough!

Your partner comes home tired after a long day of work. The kids are away at a sleepover. Grab your romance Flic and give it a press. Within moments, the fireplace is lit, the blinds are closed, the main lights are dimmed, Phillips Hue bulbs change to a deep red, and Bluetooth speakers start playing some sultry tunes.

Plant yourselves in front of the fireplace and double tap that Flic. After a minute, Bartendro (or your favorite robot bartender) has mixed you and your other half the perfect drink.

Finally, long press on your new favourite button to lock the…

  20. Use a flic to advance/go back to next slide on a slideshow on a smart tv

In our local museum we have a TV running an automated slideshow. I would like to use a Flic so visitors could advance to the next slide using a simply sturdy button.
