Connection with the Spotify app instead of playing music in the Flic app
Now, when you open Spotify and listen to your music and press on a Flic to skip to the next song, it will open the Flic app and plays your music from there while the song in the Spotify is also still playing...

Getting Flic support built into the Spotify app sounds great. You're both Swedish, grab a coffee and get it done!
The beta functionality is better than nothing but it's missing a lot - I can't change playlists without a lot of messing around, I can't add a song I like to my playlists or my collection so using it to sort through my discover weekly songs isn't great. I have no idea what the song that I like is because the Flic app doesn't display any information about the song/artist.
Much like the other poster, using the Flic to control Spotify in my car was my main use case so I really look forward to hearing how you go with this.

This is the only reason I purchased flic (to kick off spotify while im driving). I can get it to play a song, but ONLY if I have it first select a specific playlist and then toggle play, otherwise the operation fails. Then its playing inside the app, and I have no control over it, except via flic. So my fancy car stereo controls designed to operate the active iOS playlist do not work (of course they work fine if i just open spotify, but that's illegal while driving).

I use it with Sonos to play and do next. Works like a charm.

I would like to be able to next/pause/back on any audio playing (i.e. Spotify). When spotify is playing via bluetooth in my car, I can next/back via steering wheel controls - flic should be able to do the same. Any time I try to push flic, it says: "This operation is not suppored if the device is not the active playback device."
What does this mean?

I absolutely agree. This is unfortunately not possible on iOS, it would be required that Spotify adds support for Flic in their app. Let us work on getting that done ;)

I am so disappointed that it doesn't do this. When advertised I expected to be able to control Spotify. I want to be able to control the Spotify app so that I can listen to my downloaded songs I don't want to use an intergrated system when there is a perfectly good app!!!
