Use a flic to advance/go back to next slide on a slideshow on a smart tv
In our local museum we have a TV running an automated slideshow. I would like to use a Flic so visitors could advance to the next slide using a simply sturdy button.

Stick a flic under your office desk. When pressed, have it fire off a nerf dart or other office prank device.
Something like ThinkGeek's USB Rocket Launcher or anything like.

Let the button rotate left and right for new possibilities (dim the lights, control the sound volume, etc.)
This is not a usage idea, but rather a flic enhancement one. It would be nice to allow some rotating motion in flic so that you could rotate it both sides and trigger some "continuous" actions such as dimming the lights or controlling the sound volume of a TV or something.

Remote start vehicle HVAC, and optionally, open garage door
I would put one of these inside the bathroom mirror cabinet (so it's shielded from excess moisture during showers), and link it to my home automation platform which allows me to remote start my vehicles.
Now I can warm the vehicle up when I'm getting out of the shower before work, without having to go through the pain of logging in, and deal with multiple screens on my smartphone.
When remote starting my SUV, I could also have it open my garage door to provide exhaust venting.

flic outside my home office door to say "can i come in?"
homeworkers often do not want to be disturbed - maybe you are on an important call; maybe even on a video call.
flic on the outside of the office door, when pressed generates a discreet message to say "can I come in?" (maybe the kid is crying; maybe your partner has brought coffee)..
Then a red & green flic on the desk to reply yes / no2 votes -

Use Flic to skip to the next song on Sonos (Players don't have any forward button)
Sonos players don't allow you to skip to the next track. I don't know why, all music services allow it but Sonos only lets you skip forward on the app.
